4 Year Olds - Kindergarten Prep
Our Kindergarten Prep develops pre-reading skills with letter formation and phonics through letter sounds and word families. We develop pre-math skills focusing on quantifying numbers, number order, and identifying/writing numbers. We cultivate social and emotional development, independence, and strong communication + problem solving skills. Local elementary teachers have frequently commented on our graduates’ kindergarten readiness as they enter elementary school.
5 Year Olds - Transitional Kindergarten
Transitional Kindergarten is a bridge between our 4s Kindergarten Prep program and full-day kindergarten. It is intended for younger students with a summer birthday or students that will benefit from an extra year of kindergarten readiness development. The curriculum uses kindergarten standards as its roadmap to solidify the students’ academic levels, social + emotional development, and independence needed to be successful in full day Kindergarten the following year.
