Position summary:

·      Part time

·      Preschool - 2nd grade

·     Responsible for the musical, spiritual, and developmental growth of his/her students through engaging music instruction and the implementation of music curriculum at Good Shepherd Christian School.

Key responsibilities:

·      Weave the gospel truth throughout curriculum and daily activities

·      Create a welcoming, age-appropriate environment with effective classroom management

·      Plan, implement, and lead age-appropriate music lessons using approved curriculum

·      Develop, organize, and lead a variety of musical activities directed at expanding and reinforcing learned curriculum

Requirements:

·     Experience with teaching music

·      Affirms the beliefs and values of Good Shepherd Church
